Overview ¶

Package docker builds the DockerClient from config: the stub (the default) or the docker binary run through a CommandRunner (exec), run through the client tier (Decorate).

Decorate runs every DockerClient operation of base through the client tier as the client named name. Every operation converges when repeated (a build is cached, a push and a Compose up or down are idempotent), so each may retry.

NewFromConfig builds the docker client cfg.Kind selects and runs it through the client tier. An unknown kind, or exec without a runner, is CodeInvalidInput.
