Package collectore2e proves that a real OTLP receiver accepts what the server exports: traces, metrics and logs reach a collector started for the test, with the identity policy and the metric views applied as configured.

Package httpe2e drives the real gitlab-mcp-server binary over HTTP the way a client does: cross-origin decisions, preflight, the authentication modes, rate limiting, the JSON-RPC shape of a refusal, shutdown and draining, and the flags that restrict them.

Package orbit holds the live tests of the six read-only gitlab_orbit_* tools against GitLab.com's experimental Knowledge Graph API, on the fixtures scripts/setup-orbit-fixtures.sh provisions under test/fixtures/orbit.

Package stdioe2e drives the real gitlab-mcp-server binary over pipes the way an MCP client does: process lifetime, stdout carrying nothing but JSON-RPC, logs on stderr, readiness before the catalog is built, and the environment variables stdio configuration actually reads.
