func IsRefNotFound ¶ added in v1.3.1
IsRefNotFound reports whether err is (or wraps) GitHub's 404 for a ref that does not exist — the per-ref endpoints' response after a branch or tag is deleted. Deliberately narrower than any 404: a plain "Not Found" (repository gone, token lost access) stays unclassified so callers keep treating it as an ordinary transient failure.
