Quickly set wallpapers directly from e621.

Dependencies

For full sway support, swaybg must be installed. feh must be installed to set wallpapers on i3. Most other environmnets should already ship with all tooling that is required to run essig. For a list of supported environments, see /environments.

Usage

Use essig set to set a new wallpaper. All standard e621 search parameters are supported. The -r / --random option can be used to select a random post from the search results instead of the first available. All images will be downloaded and stored as $XDG_DATA_HOME/essig_wallpaper.$ext with $ext referring to the file extension of the downloaded file.

To restore a previously set wallpaper from $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/essig.json, use essig restore.
