TikTok only supports ARM, so to get the APK, you need to request using an ARM device:

armeabi-v7a
arm64-v8a

Genymotion

Create a new device, then start it, then close it, then delete, and it will give you this error:

Failed to delete the virtual device

Close program and start again, and device should be gone. Future deletes should also work as expected. However even after that, I couldnt really get the emulator to work. One start would get stuck on black screen, one start would get stuck on Android screen for multiple minutes.

Android Studio, ARM

If you create an ARM Virtual Device using Android 11, supposedly the speed should be good [1]. However I get this message:

I tried waiting for two minutes, but the emulator never started. I was able to start the device by changing Graphics setting to Hardware - GLES 2.0. However even with that, its still take about five minutes to start up [2], and over two minute to install an app.

Android Studio, x86

If your Virtual Device is x86 or x86_64, you might get this error:

INSTALL_FAILED_NO_MATCHING_ABIS

If the APK is armeabi-v7a, then you can install with x86 Virtual Device, if using Android 9 (API 28) or higher. If the APK is arm64-v8a, then you can install with x86_64 Virtual Device, if using Android 11 (API 30) or higher.

If you try to start the app, you will get this message:
