gen

Overview ¶

Command gen writes internal/connect/ampcatalog/providers.json from the amp-labs catalog.

It is the only thing in this repository that imports the catalog library, and it is a main package that nothing imports, so the library is a build-time requirement and not a linked dependency of the codeaf binary. That is the whole point of the exercise — see ../ampcatalog.go.

Run it with `go generate ./internal/connect/ampcatalog` and read the diff. The rows are re-encoded through the mirror types rather than copied field by field, so a field the mirror does not declare cannot leak into the snapshot, and a field it declares under the library's own JSON name arrives without this file mentioning it.
