Types

type Verifier

type Verifier struct {
	// contains filtered or unexported fields
}

Verifier checks whether a Datadog API key is active by calling the Datadog validation API. It NEVER logs or persists raw key values.

func NewForTrustedInstance added in v1.8.0

func NewForTrustedInstance(instanceURL string) (*Verifier, error)

NewForTrustedInstance accepts only canonical official Datadog API site origins. Datadog keys are site-bound; arbitrary repository or custom hosts are never valid routing authorities.

func (*Verifier) Type

func (v *Verifier) Type() string

Type returns the detector ID this verifier handles.

func (*Verifier) Verify

Verify checks if the detected Datadog API key is valid/active. Raw contains the key value. Datadog returns 200 with a "valid" flag and uses 403 (not 401) for a rejected key.

func (*Verifier) WithTrustedInstance added in v1.8.0

func (*Verifier) WithTrustedInstance(instanceURL string) (verifier.Verifier, error)

WithTrustedInstance implements verifier.TrustedInstanceConfigurer.
