changelog

Overview ¶

Package main implements the release-time changelog tool (plan 27): `assemble` folds the changelog.d/ fragments — plus any legacy [Unreleased] body — into a new dated section of CHANGELOG.md, and `notes` extracts a released section's body for GitHub Release notes. The ritual that runs it is docs/RELEASING.md; the Make entry points are `changelog` and `changelog-notes`.
