Documentation

Overview

Package presetfetch is the concrete git Fetcher for source-tracking preset resolution. It satisfies presetref.Fetcher by cloning a source at a ref and reading the preset file (via governance.FetchFile), and by classifying a bare ref against the source with a go-git ls-remote (gitstate.RemoteRefExists — all git ops go through gitstate per the git-ops invariant). It is wired into config.SourceFetcher by a network-capable entry point (the CLI); config itself never imports it (that would cycle), hence the seam.

Functions

func New

func New(resolveSource func(source string) (string, error)) presetref.Fetcher

New returns a presetref.Fetcher covering both source families. resolveSource maps a preset ref's <source> (a URL, or a forge shorthand like "gitlab:Org/Repo") to a clonable repo URL; it is used only for the git family.
