Package daemonruntime owns the web daemon's private runtime directory and process identity checks. It does not launch or control terminal sessions.

func DefaultDir ¶
func DefaultDir() string
DefaultDir preserves UAM_SESSION_DIR and the existing per-user location so upgrades can find and safely stop an already-running web daemon. The temp directory survives logout, unlike XDG_RUNTIME_DIR on some hosts.
func ProcStartTime ¶
ProcStartTime returns a kernel process identity, or zero if unavailable.
func WorkDir ¶
func WorkDir() string
WorkDir is the directory the web daemon and its provider runtimes run in: the user's home, which outlives any checkout the service was started from, else the root directory.
func WorkEnv ¶
WorkEnv is this process's environment with the path variables in pathEnv made absolute against the current directory, for a daemon started in WorkDir: relative settings keep their meaning there, and the daemon's children (the Copilot CLI) never inherit a directory that may later be deleted, such as a removed worktree.
