Getting started
hey # sign in with your browser and connect your coding agents
hey tui # open the app
The app has Mail, Contacts, Calendar and Journal, with HEY's own keyboard shortcuts.
Press ? to see them. It follows HEY live: a thread you archive on your phone leaves the
screen a moment later.
Using the CLI
hey box view imbox # threads in a box
hey thread read 12345 # a whole thread, as Markdown

Every command explains itself with --help. At a terminal the output is made for reading.
Piped, a command that returns data writes JSON, and --jq filters it without a separate
jq:
hey box view imbox --jq '.data.postings[] | {topic_id, subject}'
hey label view 789 --ids-only # one ID per line, for xargs
Coding agents
The setup wizard connects the agents it finds. To do it yourself:
