Package deferred binds deferred evaluation to stack configuration.

func CacheFor(ac *schema.AtmosConfiguration, info *schema.ConfigAndStacksInfo) *deferred.ValueCache
CacheFor returns an invocation-local cache for the target's raw configuration, including inherited auth. Callers must resolve authentication before loading values. Unsupported configuration values safely disable caching without affecting evaluation.
func StoreValue ¶ added in v1.232.0
StoreValue memoizes successful template store reads for one invocation. In-flight reads of the same key share a result, while nil values and errors remain retryable.

func TargetSection(ac *schema.AtmosConfiguration, component, stack string, describe func() (map[string]any, error)) (map[string]any, error)
TargetSection returns the unevaluated target configuration for deferred authentication. Only raw describes (component templates and YAML functions disabled) may be supplied. Each caller receives its own copy before inherited authentication is applied. Stack locals can still recurse during loading, so misses must not wait on other in-flight describes: the existing lookup cycle detector owns recursion.
