Functions ¶
func EtcdLogger ¶
EtcdLogger returns a logger for an in-process etcd client which writes into the test's captured output.
Left unset, clientv3 builds its own logger straight to stderr, which `go test` cannot attribute to a test and so prints in the middle of a run:
{"level":"warn",...,"logger":"etcd-client","msg":"retrying of unary invoker failed",...}
func HTTP ¶
HTTP returns a Go http.Client which has a default timeout of 10 seconds, and separate connection pool to the default allowing tests to be properly isolated when running in parallel. The returned client will call CloseIdleConnections on test cleanup.
func HTTPWithTimeout ¶ added in v1.14.5
func SubscribeStream ¶
func SubscribeStream(ctx context.Context, dapr rtv1.DaprClient, pubsubName, topic string) (rtv1.Dapr_SubscribeTopicEventsAlpha1Client, error)
SubscribeStream opens a streaming subscription to pubsubName/topic and returns it once daprd sent the initial response, which tells the client the subscription is ready. It returns errors rather than failing a test, so worker goroutines can use it.
Types ¶
type EtcdClient ¶
type EtcdClient struct {
// contains filtered or unexported fields
}
func Etcd ¶
func Etcd(t *testing.T, cfg clientv3.Config) *EtcdClient
Returns an adapted Etcd client for tests.
