Kubex Collector

This repository contains the source code for the Kubex Collector image. The Kubex Collector gathers data from Kubernetes using the Prometheus API and sends that data to Kubex for analysis and optimization recommendations.

Deployment

This image is deployed as part of the kubex-automation-stack Helm chart, which bundles all required dependencies including:

• Prometheus
• cAdvisor
• kube-state-metrics
• node-exporter
• DCGM exporter (for GPU monitoring)
• gpu-process-exporter
• k8s-ephemeral-storage-metrics
• Beyla

Docker Images

The Docker image is available on Docker Hub. Pull it using:

docker pull densify/container-optimization-data-forwarder:4

Development

This is a Go-based application that queries Prometheus metrics and sends them to the Kubex platform.
