Overview ¶
Package authentication coordinates explicit ACP login without owning the agents' credential files. Discovery and background probes never authenticate.

Start is idempotent for an already working login: verify first, authenticate only when session/new reports missing credentials, then verify again using a fresh process and the exact current environment version.
