Overview ¶

Package versioncheck inspects installed Agent components without mutating them. NPM-backed components are compared with the registry in one batched check; script/manual/project agents fall back to their local binary version.

Check returns installed Agent version information. The mutex deliberately spans the external probes: duplicate page loads share one bounded check rather than spawning competing npm registry requests.
