Overview ¶
Package cleanup is for the errors of releasing something after the work is done: closing a connection, shutting a server down, removing a temporary file. The work has already succeeded or failed by then, so the error cannot change the outcome; it is logged instead of dropped.

Remove deletes the file at path and logs a failure; a file that is already gone is not one.

Served logs why a server stopped serving, unless it was asked to stop (http.ErrServerClosed).

Shutdown logs the services of a container that did not shut down cleanly.
