Overview ¶
Package app is the authn-bridge command: an OpenID Connect provider in front of a SAML federation such as RENATER or eduGAIN. It is internal so that nothing outside this module depends on the program's insides; cmd/authn-bridge calls Main and nothing else.
The SAML half is github.com/go-authn/saml; this is the OpenID Connect half and the mapping between them. See the README for the configuration.

DomainGrantExtension is GÉANT's extension naming the domains a certificate is meant for (the EuroHPC SSH CA profile), as go-authn/sshcert names it.
const GroupsExtension = "groups@go-authn.org"
GroupsExtension is the certificate extension that carries the person's groups, one per line.
const Name = "authn-bridge"
Name is the command's name: what it is installed as, and what its help and its errors call it. Not "bridge": iproute2 installs /sbin/bridge on practically every Linux host.
