Package evalcheck runs a snippet through the Go evaluator and compares the outcome with what R 4.6.2 did (an EvalRecord): value bytes, visibility, warnings, error message and call.

Package gen produces the golden files of testdata/golden from the reference R, and reads them back for the tests that run without R.

Package oracle drives the reference R as a differential oracle.

Package parity compares the Go parser with the reference R 4.6.2 on arbitrary source text, at three levels: the syntax tree (against the dump of R's own language objects), the terminal tokens (against utils::getParseData) and the error message (against parse()'s).
