slidesbench

Overview ¶

Command slidesbench measures go-slides against marp-cli on the same decks, as subprocesses, the way a user runs them: wall time, CPU time, peak memory of the whole process tree (marp drives a Chrome that is its child) and the size of what each writes. See BENCHMARKS.md for the method and the results.

It refuses to measure on a loaded machine (-maxload, the 1-minute load average): numbers taken under load are meaningless.
