Overview ¶
Command microbench parses `go test -bench` output (read from stdin) and merges the rows into OUT/microbench.json, replacing the -stack *namespace* as a whole so a re-run can't leave a stale scenario — or, for the ablation, a stale layer. `make benchmark-micro` pipes each framework-tax stack's output through it (namespace = the leaf stack, e.g. `gin`); `make benchmark-micro-ablation` pipes the whole ablation ladder through it with namespace `gombit-ablation`, which owns every `gombit-ablation/<row>` stack — so a layer removed from the runtime stack is dropped from the JSON on the next run rather than orphaned.
go test ./benchmarks/micro/gin -bench=BenchmarkFrameworkTax -benchmem -run='^$' \ | go run ./benchmarks/scripts/microbench -stack gin -out benchmarks/results/latest/microbench.json
