forwardauth

Overview ¶

Command forwardauth is the forward-auth server for Traefik: it authenticates browsers through one OIDC or GitHub provider into a server-side session, accepts static API keys, and answers Traefik's forwardAuth checks with 200 and, optionally, the identity as a signed JWT for the upstream service. It is configured through environment variables only (see Configuration).
