Overview ¶
Package embedded implements the gateway.Gateway port with net/http/httputil — a hand-written reverse proxy behind a longest-prefix router (ADR-0012). It is the cross-platform dev/e2e/CI driver (the InMemory() harness gateway); pure stdlib, no framework.

func New ¶
New returns an embedded reverse-proxy gateway (dev/e2e/CI). Its reverse proxies share one pooled upstream transport so connections to the function workeres are reused across requests — http.DefaultTransport keeps only 2 idle conns/host, which churns connections into TIME_WAIT and exhausts ephemeral ports under load (ADR-0041, surfaced by ADR-0040).
