Overview ¶
Example: A PUS service model
This example demonstrates the ECSS Packet Utilization Standard riding inside CCSDS Space Packets:
Ground Side (requests): 1. TC[3,5] enable periodic housekeeping reporting 2. TC[12,5] add a limit check on the battery voltage 3. TC[11,4] schedule a command for later release Spacecraft Side (reports): 1. TM[1,1] telecommand accepted 2. TM[1,7] execution completed 3. TM[3,25] housekeeping parameter report 4. TM[12,12] a check transitioned out of limits 5. TM[5,2] low severity anomaly event
Every message is a real Space Packet with a PUS secondary header, encoded and decoded through a mission profile that pins the tailorable widths.
