BuildPackID builds a v1 packfile identifier for one resource-scoped pack.
func NewPackID ¶
func NewPackID() string
NewPackID returns a random v1 packfile identifier. A store that deletes packfiles names each one it writes this way, so writing the same blocks again never reuses the identifier of a packfile being deleted.
