flagsetup

Overview ¶

Command flagsetup generates the parameter flag records of internal/params from internal/params/config/paramflags.json, writing zz_paramflags.go beside the directive in internal/params/flag.go that names it.

Nothing runs it on its own: no build step, no workflow, no test. After editing paramflags.json, run `go generate ./internal/params` from the repository root and commit the regenerated file together with the edit. The test in flagsetup_test.go regenerates the records in memory and fails when the committed file no longer matches the JSON, which is how a missed regeneration shows up.

It imports no application packages so it can regenerate missing or broken records. Its diagnostic constants must first be generated by copygen.
