Overview ¶
Command dynamodbdemo exercises the nosql/dynamodb client against DynamoDB or DynamoDB Local: it creates a table, writes items one by one and in a batch, reads them back, queries a partition, and cleans up after itself.
One source, both compilers:
go run ./examples/dynamodbdemo tinygo build -o dynamodbdemo ./examples/dynamodbdemo && ./dynamodbdemo
Configure it through the usual AWS environment variables. Against a local server, where any well-formed credentials are accepted:
docker run -p 8000:8000 amazon/dynamodb-local -jar DynamoDBLocal.jar -inMemory -sharedDb AWS_ENDPOINT_URL_DYNAMODB=http://127.0.0.1:8000 \ AWS_ACCESS_KEY_ID=local AWS_SECRET_ACCESS_KEY=local \ AWS_REGION=ap-northeast-1 ./dynamodbdemo
