Overview ¶
Package shellcompat provides the bounded, model-facing Shell portability diagnostic. It is internal to the engine: only the Shell tool implementations may share this execution-compatibility helper. It does not participate in authorization.

func Check ¶
Check returns bounded POSIX portability feedback for a model-facing command. It is exported only within the engine's Go internal boundary. It is deliberately neither an authorization decision nor a shell emulator: it only recognizes selected Bash AST nodes when the trusted configured shell path names sh or dash. Parse failures and every other shell basename leave the exact command bytes for the runner unchanged.
