helm-values-schema

Overview ¶

Command helm-values-schema generates values.schema.json from values.yaml. By default, each key's type comes from its default value and its description from the comment above it. Constraints that cannot be inferred (enums, patterns, item shape) are added with "# @schema" comments on the key, e.g.:

pullPolicy: IfNotPresent # @schema enum:[Always, IfNotPresent, Never]
port: 8080               # @schema minimum:1; maximum:65535
extraEnv: []             # @schema items.type:object; items.required:[name]
