Overview

Package telemetry initializes the OpenTelemetry tracer, meter, and log providers. Init returns a shutdown function and is a no-op when OTel is disabled in configuration.

Init initializes the global OpenTelemetry tracer, meter, and logger providers and returns a shutdown function. If cfg.Enabled is false it returns a no-op shutdown without touching globals.
