Prerequisites

• Go 1.23.X
• Node.js 18.x or higher
• npm 9.x or higher (comes with Node.js)

Local Development

# Clone the repository
git clone https://github.com/tony-montemuro/image2ascii

# Navigate to project directory
cd image2ascii

# Install dependencies
go mod download
npm i

# Start the development server
go run app.go

# In a separate terminal, start the Tailwind build process
npx tailwindcss -i ./static/input.css -o ./static/styles.css --watch
